I can hardly believe that it is June already! Time has certainly flown by and another school year is coming to an end. I know all of our students are looking forward to the summer break and taking time to relax, but don’t forget, school isn’t over yet! On different occasions, I have thanked our staff, parents, and students for the work they do, and I would like to say “Thanks” again. It takes all of us, working together, for our students to succeed and I believe that East Elementary truly is a special school filled with amazing individuals. I would like to recognize our students and their efforts. They are kind, caring, and demonstrate good citizenship throughout the year. I look forward to seeing all of them each day and our Grade 6 students will be missed as they head out to new adventures in junior high. I wish all of you a restful and fun filled summer and I hope you take as much time as you can to enjoy the good weather and your family. On behalf of the staff, I would like to thank you for trusting your children to us each day and we know what a great privilege and responsibility that is. Have a wonderful summer and see you in the 2018-2019 school year!!
