February 24 is Pink Shirt Day- a day to promote kindness:

“We encourage everyone to openly express that “Kindness is one size fits all”. We all have the capacity to spread kindness and that is the underlying philosophy behind our anti-bullying movement: a movement we hope lives year round beyond Pink Shirt Day. This year, East Elementary has our own pink shirts that students are welcome to order if they choose to.  Check out the form here.  Orders are due this Tuesday, February 2.
