This week’s assembly focused on caring and giving to others.  In addition to filling boxes for Operation Christmas child which sends care packages to children overseas, the whole school rallied together to show our appreciation and devotion for two of our own.  The children added artwork and words of encouragement and love to fabric squares which will be made into quilts for Logan & Scarlet Aspholm.  Logan & Scarlet both suffer from metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare degenerative disorder which impairs the growth & development of the myelin sheath covering nerve fibers.  Thank you to both Mrs. Lysgaard and Mrs. Metke for organizing these activities.
