Dear Parents/Guardians,

Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is drawing near. I hope you all have a wonderful February and a great Family Day.  I know our staff and students are looking forward to spending some time with their families on the upcoming long weekends.

I would like to give you an early “heads up” about some upcoming changes in the way we will be reporting our grades and comments to parents.  Starting next year, we will be using the PowerTeacher Pro program to record and share student data.  This program is being adopted by all of the schools in Black Gold Regional Division and has some unique features. One of the unique features of this program is that parents will be able to monitor their child’s progress in real time as grades and assignments are recorded throughout the year.  As with all changes, I expect we will encounter some challenges and it may take some time to master this new program, so I would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while we make this transition.
