The AHS Children, Youth and Families – Addiction and Mental Health Caregiver Education Team is proud to offer free mental health programming for parents and caregivers of children and youth through our partnership with the Mental Health Foundation. In response to the global pandemic, our programming continues to be offered virtually at this time.

These 90 minute online sessions are intended to provide parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members with introductory information regarding mental health challenges that can affect children and youth. This summer, to support parents and caregivers in preparing their child or youth for school in the fall, we are offering the sessions ‘Supporting Self-Regulation’, ‘Getting Ready for School’, and ‘Junior-High Jitters’.
This summer’s 60 minute lunchtime webinars look at ways parents and caregivers can support positive mental health in children and establish respectful limits with teens. With these two-part sessions, participants are welcome to register for one or both sessions.
