Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We had a super busy last few weeks at school. . . here are a few highlights, as written by groups of grade six students:

There is fudge cake, chocolate cake with extra frosting, sprinkle cake with extra sprinkles, who doesn’t love cake? Cake raffle is something East Elementary does at our Christmas concert. It’s where people that come in for the concert can buy raffle tickets for the cake that they want. Grade 6 makes homemade cakes and other people buy 50cent tickets to win a cake. This year our cake raffle was on December 15-16, 2016. At the end of the concert, cake raffle volunteers pull out the tickets and whoever has that ticket wins that cake. With the money we made we donated $100 each to the Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Edmonton Humane Society. Thank you for supporting our Grade Six class!
