Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We had a super busy last few weeks at school. . . here are a few highlights, as written by groups of grade six students:

Elementary Stocking Stuffers
To bring joy to all of those who are less fortunate, East Elementary
Student Council created a plan. Since the middle of December, students have been donating toiletries and more to stuff stockings. Items donated were things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, beanies, toys, and more! So, why is East Elementary trying to achieve this? Well, because we want to help our community and help the homeless. So far, we have 17 stockings and 4 bags of items for the food bank, full of things that will help the city of Leduc. Special thanks to the people who helped. Mrs. Kiss made the delivery on the last Thursday before the Christmas break.
