    The Alberta Hunter Education Instructors’ Association will be holding a Family Ice Fishing Day on March 19th!

    This event is a perfect opportunity to learn some new skills and have some fun in the Great Outdoors.

        When: Saturday, March 19th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

        Location: Coal Lake (Coal Lake is located approximately 60 KM southeast of Edmonton).

        Logistics: Don’t have equipment? Not to worry. We will supply fishing equipment for those that do not have their own. Our Team will also be on-hand to drill holes and provide their expertise. If you are under 16 years of age you are not required to have a Sportfishing Licence but you must follow the Sportfishing Regulations. All others ages 16-64 must have a Sport Fishing Licence.

    Space is limited and you must pre-register by March 16. The event is designed for families with children up to 17 years of age. All those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (see attachment for details)

        Cost: FREE

    We will also be providing complimentary hot dogs and hot beverages.
