Dear Parents/Guardians,

On May Long Weekend I had the privilege of attending the LCHS graduation to watch the proceedings and see my nephew graduate. It was also very nice to see many of our former East students cross the stage and receive their certificates as well. This reminded me that all of our students are on an educational journey, and that journey doesn’t end at East Elementary. In June our Grade 6 students will reach their first milestone on their journey and say farewell to East. What an amazing time we had with them over the years and they will be missed by all of our staff.  Each of our Grade 6 students demonstrated kindness, caring, and they truly are amazing role models for our younger students.  Good luck Grade 6’s and enjoy your new adventure in junior high!
