Wow! It’s already June and we have one month of school left until summer break. When I was a student, I remember thinking “When will it be summer holidays? School is so long”. Now that I am much older, the school year just seems to fly by.
Before we head out of school for our summer holidays, I would like to send a thanks to our school community. First, I would like to thank our students. You are the most important people in our building and your hard work, kindness and compassion, makes it a pleasure for all of our staff to work with you. Secondly, I would like to thank all of our parents and guardians. Thank you for raising such great children, for fundraising, for volunteering, and for supporting the school throughout the year. Finally, I would like to thank our staff. Your commitment to educating children, and the caring you demonstrate daily, makes East Elementary an amazing place to work and learn.
I wish all of you a wonderful summer break filled with relaxation, adventure, and lots of good BBQ. See you in September!!
