Greetings Parents and Caregivers,
December is upon us and all of the excitement and anticipation that goes with it! This month, Ms. Bouchard and her team of helpers will be putting together our school Christmas concert. The concert will be pre-recorded and sent out to you some time before the break. I certainly do miss hosting all of our students and families in the school for our concert and hopefully next year, we will be able to do so!
This Christmas, I hope you all have an opportunity to enjoy the break and the time with your family. When I look back at my childhood memories, my favorite part of Christmas was knowing that my aunts, uncles, and cousin would all be staying at our house for a few days. There was always lots of great food and laughter, and my cousin, my sister and I would always get into some type of trouble. I remember one year when I was about 8 or 9 I received a giant styrofoam airplane, that when thrown, would fly over your head, loop back, and return to you. I didn’t really understand in advance what was going to happen and I watched the plane fly up, over my head, then start to rapidly descend right towards me and into my face. I still laugh when I think about the plane crashing into me and the spectacular nosebleed that followed. I hope you and your family get to make some great memories this Christmas, but without any injuries!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Mr. Chomlak
