Greetings Parents and Caregivers,

May is upon us and we have some exciting things happening at East Elementary.  May 2nd – May 6th is Education Week and we have some great activities planned for the kids.  We will have Rocks and Rings indoor curling available for all of the students during gym class. On Tuesday, we are hosting a Name That Tune with all of the students. This is the first time we’ve participated in this activity and it should be a fun time for everyone.  On Wednesday, we will have Hats On for Mental Health and on Friday we have a Hula Hoop Circus Assembly.  In addition, this month we will be having auditions for the talent show, some floor hockey, field trips, and our first Provincial Achievement Test for our grade 6’s.  Be sure to take a look at our calendar on the school website to keep track of all of the things happening in May.
