Greetings Parents and Guardians,

Call me overly optimistic, but I believe anything warmer than -30C is cause for celebration.  Like many or you, I am certainly looking forward to warmer weather, longer days, and spending more time outside in the sun.

This month, we will be hosting our student-led conferences before spring break. This will be a great opportunity to learn about, and participate in, some of the exciting activities that your child is working on.  I have school aged children in our household and over the years I learned that teacher conferences are only a small part of the partnership between home and school.  I encourage all parents and guardians to monitor their child’s progress on Powerschool and to communicate any concerns you have with your child’s teacher.  In addition, it is equally important for the home to recognize the validity of any concerns that our teaching professionals may raise regarding your child’s progress.  When we work together, we can ensure that your child reaches their potential!
