Welcome Back Students, Parents, and Guardians!

I think every year I say that the summer went by quickly and it certainly feels like that again.  My family had a pretty relaxing summer and one of our highlights was visiting Mara Lake. While we were there, we had a chance to do some surfing behind my sister’s boat. I can say with confidence, that surfing behind a boat is actually a lot harder than it looks and I definitely wasn’t thirsty after drinking the lake water all day long!

This year at East, there is a definite sense of excitement. The staff is looking forward to seeing the students again and engaging in some of the activities we couldn’t do last year.  We are already planning events at the school and one of those is our upcoming Meet the Staff night. Unfortunately, we will not be able to have a large group assembly, however, parents and guardians are invited to join us at the school and visit your child’s classroom to meet the staff.  This will take place between 5PM and 6PM on September 9th.  We hope to see you there and we look forward to a great year with your children!
