School Council and Parents’ Association – Two ways to Be Involved

East Elementary welcomes the collaborative and giving spirit of parents, care givers, and the greater community. We have two groups providing highly valued support to the educational efforts of the school and are your link to being involved. Our School Council is an advisory body for the Principal on school policies and improvement planning and focuses on fostering meaningful connections between the entire school community. The Principal and Staff are core members of the School Council. Our Parents’ Association is focused on fundraising; providing additional financial resources to enhance student learning and support the school. The Principal and staff are associate members and advisory to the Parent Association. All parents and caregivers are members of both groups and are invited to participate.
